From raw citations to a source strategy

Every domain AI engines cite about your market, captured and ranked by what it's actually worth.

01

Capture every citation

Each AI response we collect is parsed for cited sources — the domains engines lean on when they answer your buyers.

02

Score and categorize

Domains get a composite Impact Score from mention rate, Share of Attribution, sentiment and citation volume, then land in one of four categories.

03

Spot the gaps

We flag domains that cite your competitors but never you — ranked by the size of the opportunity you're missing.

04

Run the outreach

The Publisher Outreach tab turns every gap into an actionable target list, so PR and content teams know exactly who to pitch.

A citation strategy, not just a citation report

Most tools show you who's cited. This shows you what to do about it.

A leaderboard of the domains that matter

Every source is ranked by a composite Impact Score so you stop guessing which placements move AI answers and which are noise.

  • Mention rate — how often the domain appears in your AI responses
  • Share of Attribution — how much answer text it actually drives
  • Sentiment — how positively you're framed when it's cited
  • Citation volume — raw counts, per engine and per topic

Four categories, four playbooks

Sources are mapped into a quadrant by visibility and sentiment, so every domain comes with an obvious next move.

  • Priority — high impact, high sentiment: protect and deepen
  • Reputation — high impact, weak sentiment: fix the narrative
  • Growth — loved but under-cited: amplify these sources
  • Monitor — low signal today: watch for movement

Turn citation gaps into pipeline

The competitor gap analysis surfaces domains citing rivals but not you — the warmest possible outreach list for your PR team.

  • Gap domains ranked by opportunity score
  • See exactly which competitors each domain cites
  • Hand a ready-made target list to PR and partnerships

Frequently asked questions

What is the Impact Score?
Impact Score is a 0–100 composite that ranks each citing domain by weighted mention rate, Share of Attribution, sentiment, citation volume and topic coverage — so the leaderboard reflects real influence on AI answers, not just raw counts.
What do the Priority, Reputation, Growth and Monitor categories mean?
They're strategic quadrants. Priority sources are high-visibility and positive — protect them. Reputation sources are high-visibility but weak sentiment — fix the narrative there. Growth sources speak well of you but are under-cited — amplify them. Monitor sources show low signal today.
What is Publisher Outreach?
It's the action layer on top of citation analysis: a ranked list of domains that cite your competitors but not you, with the competitors they cite and the opportunity size — ready to hand to your PR or partnerships team.
Which AI engines' citations are tracked?
Citations are captured from the responses of all tracked engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Bing Copilot, DeepSeek and Baidu, and can be broken down per engine.
How is Share of Attribution different from mention rate?
Mention rate tells you how often a domain shows up in responses about your brand. Share of Attribution tells you how much of the actual answer text traces back to that domain — a domain can appear rarely but drive a large share of what AI says.
